And we're off - the awards season has officially begun. The 67th Golden Globe Awards took place at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles on 17 January, the first of the year's 'biggie' award shows and often used an Oscar indicator.

Hosted by Ricky Gervais, the awards are decided by the Foreign Press Association members and honour the best of both big and small screen talent.
